The Socketed Finial by Unidentified Artist shows a dark gray, cylindrical object with a carved design. The top is flat and circular with a small groove down its center. Below the top, two symmetrical, curved shapes resembling ears or wings flank a central, triangular section. The lower portion of the object features horizontal lines. A nose-like protrusion points downwards. The background is plain and light gray.
