Central Ornament

Central Ornament by The Metropolitan Museum of Art, a horizontal piece of jewelry with a central symmetrical design. The top features a filigree-style metalwork with floral patterns and small round beads. The piece has a curved top edge with points at both ends. There are two floral motifs on either end. The bottom of the piece has 14 tassels hanging down, each composed of a long dark-colored fringe with a small round bead and a leaf-shaped piece at the end. The background is plain and light-colored.
