The Jar (Hu) by the artist is a bronze vessel with a bulbous body and a narrow neck. The object has a dark green patina with patches of reddish-brown. A short cylindrical base supports the object. Three small ring-shaped decorations are visible on the lower body. Two chains are attached to a handle at the top and to small rings on either side of the body. The background is gray with a shadow beneath and to the right of the object.
