Belt hook

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The belt hook, by Unknown, is a small, aged metal object with a long, thin handle and a curved end. The handle is rounded at the top. The curved end has a bulbous shape with a flat base and two pointed protrusions on either side, resembling wings or fins. The object appears to be made of a weathered green and brown metal. Circular indentations adorn the curved end. The background of the image is a solid light gray color.
