The Vase by Bernard Leach is a large, bulbous ceramic vessel. The vase has a wide, rounded body with a narrow opening at the top. The body of the vase is mostly dark gray with some lighter gray patches and streaks. There are some darker gray and black areas on the body, giving it a mottled appearance. The base of the vase is small and circular. The background of the image is light grey.
