"Piece" by artist MC Escher shows a rectangular patterned design. The dominant colors are variations of peach, orange, and cream. A thin dark border surrounds the design, which is itself bordered by a thicker light-colored frame. The pattern consists of repeating shapes in a grid-like formation. The shapes are mostly symmetrical and feature floral or geometric motifs. Three large circles, each composed of the same pattern, are prominently displayed. They are positioned in a row that runs horizontally through the middle of the design. Smaller, similar patterns are scattered throughout the rest of the design. A small block of orange text is visible in the bottom-left corner.
