The Piece by artist Helen Zille, is an image of a brown-toned fabric or textile with a raised pattern on it. The raised pattern features a repeating design of trees with triangular shaped mountains behind them. The trees appear to be arranged in clusters; some have white details. The entire pattern takes up most of the image. A white background surrounds the fabric. The fabric takes up the majority of the center of the image. Small frayed areas are along the edges.
