Bottom drawing on left page shows a single grapevine plant with bare branches supported on an A-frame trellis with two bunches of purple grapes. Right page shows two drawings. Top drawing on right page shows a hillside with several rows of plants with bare branches. The plants are supported on tall yellow posts. Bottom drawing on right page shows a low fence made of yellow and green posts with pointed tops. The fence supports bare-branched plants. All drawings have Japanese writing around the borders. Pages are yellowed with age.
