The beige middle section of the center scroll depicts an elderly man sitting cross-legged on the floor holding a long staff. The man wears a robe covering his body and one shoulder. The beige middle section of the right scroll depicts a tree growing from a rocky outcropping with a cliff behind it. Each scroll has a green band at the bottom with a beige patterned section. The top third of each scroll has several lines of black Asian characters with a small red mark below. The scrolls have small wooden dowels at the bottom.
