Album of the New Year (Aratama jō) 新玉帖

Two-page spread from a book, "Album of the New Year" by Tani Bunchō. The pages are yellowed and have a rough texture. The left page is blank except for a fold line down the middle. The right page has a drawing of several fabric items. The fabric items are in two groups: one group of 5 is on the bottom left, the other group of 9 is floating in the air on the top right. The fabric items are rectangular with fringe on the ends. They have various patterns including stripes and geometric designs in shades of pink, blue, orange, and white. The bottom group of fabrics has a small plant on the right. There is a red seal or stamp on the bottom right page. The background of the pages is a light brown color with some darker brown marks.
