Sō Shiseki Picture Album (Sō Shiseki gafu) 宋紫石画譜

Open book with two pages side by side. The left page shows a drawing of a tree with leaves and grass. The tree trunk is thick and gnarled, curving to the right and up. The right page shows a drawing of a bird standing on a rock. The bird faces right and has a long curved tail. Both drawings are in black ink and have a thin black border. Chinese characters are written vertically on the left page border. The pages are yellowed and worn. The background behind the book is white.
