Poke bonnet by an unknown artist. A light-brown, pleated hat made from woven material resembling straw or grass. The hat has a short, straight crown and a wide, flared brim. Two rows of tightly woven, decorative trim encircle the crown and the base of the brim. The hat is positioned on a white surface, with a white background behind it. The hat appears to have frayed edges.
