Suspenders

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Suspenders by artist unknown. Two long, beige-colored straps with floral designs and green trim. The straps are made of a fabric material, possibly cotton or linen, with a woven or cross-stitched pattern. The floral designs feature pink, yellow, and green colors. The straps have a pointed end and a hole at the other, with a small metal grommet at one end of each strap. A piece of string or twine is threaded through the grommet on one strap. The straps are placed on a plain white surface, with one strap on top of the other.
