Gloves

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Long white gloves made of leather or similar material. The gloves extend past the wrist, tapering wider towards the top. The top edge of both gloves is rough and frayed. The gloves each have four fingers, with the thumb folded across the palm. The gloves are decorated with a design on the lower part. The design features a seated figure on a woven seat. The figure wears a blue dress. The gloves have a dotted pattern throughout. They are titled "Gloves" and are by an artist.
