The individuals surrounding him wear flowing garments. Some figures have expressive facial features, one appears to kiss the figure's hand. The clothing is detailed with folds and wrinkles. A crown of thorns is placed beside the body. In the background, there is a barren tree with twisting branches over a rocky formation.
