The sculpture depicts a crowned woman next to a child. Below a tiered crown, the woman's long, curly hair is covered by a veil. On the right is a young child who also wears a crown. One of the child's hands is outstretched, with two fingers extended upwards. The other holds a round ball adorned with a cross. Below the heads of the two people are swirling designs rather than distinct bodies; the designs include curling, interconnected circles and flowers. At the very bottom of the sculpture is a cherubic face framed by two wings. The sculpture appears bronze, with some areas of dark patina.
