The artwork has sketch-like strokes in an impressionistic style, with minimal detail. The color palette is monochromatic in shades of gray. Closest to us is grass and open space leading to the riverbank, with a few figures. A steamboat is under the bridge, emitting smoke. In the distance are more structures and smaller archways under the bridge. The bridge is detailed, with an arched structure.
