Baby's Nightgown

Maud M. Holme

National Gallery of Art

The largest object in the image is a long, flowing garment with long sleeves, decorated with small, scattered motifs and bordered with a ribbon-like trim. The garment is centrally positioned, hanging vertically, while beneath it, there are two small rectangular fabric swatches displayed side by side at the bottom of the image. Each swatch features a pattern similar to the one seen on the main garment.
