Quaker Bonnet

Lillian Causey

National Gallery of Art

The image shows three bonnet sketches. The largest bonnet is a detailed colored rendering with soft browns and creams. It has a metallic-like finish, a long ribbon tied at the base, and is positioned towards the right upper side. Another smaller, less detailed sketch is at the upper left, and a more detailed but colorless bonnet sketch is at the bottom left.
