This is a drawing of an intricate ornamental design. The design is a rectangle, and on either side is a border of overlapping L shapes that fit together to make small squares. Inside these borders, there is a symmetrical arrangement of swirling scrollwork with leaves and pinecones converging at the center, where a pleated, square, leaf-like shape is in the middle of the twisting vines. The use of shading gives a three-dimensional effect. The drawing is gray against beige paper.
