The Crucifixion

This painting depicts a crucifixion scene in the style of medieval illuminated manuscripts. Above the illustration, there is text written in Latin, adorned with red and black ink on a parchment-like background. The central figure is affixed to a cross with arms outstretched, head tilted downwards. Two other figures with halos stand on either side of the central figure, one in a blue robe with hands together, and the other in a blue robe holding a rounded object. The background is painted in shades of blue, orange, and green with decorative patterns.
