This print is a black-and-white portrait of a man seen from the waist up within an oval frame. The man is slightly turned to the right and looking directly at us. He has long, wavy hair, light skin, a long nose, deeply-set, round eyes, and a long chin. He is dressed in armor partially covered by a high lace collar and a thin sash across his chest. Behind him appears to be draped cloth on the right, with a small section of what looks like a cloudy sky on the left. The frame around the portrait is covered in leaf-like designs, and below the frame is a heraldic emblem or coat of arms with several lines of text on either side of it.
