This is a painting of a branch with multiple birds perching on it, surrounding a round nest made of green fibers nestled amidst the leaves. The branch has green leaves and long, sharp thorns. The birds have distinct coloring and plumage. Two of the birds have red and black coloring, while the other three have yellow and black feathers. The branch hangs down from the top of the painting, and in the background is a wide, pale-blue and pink sky above rolling hills dotted with tiny trees and two minuscule human figures.
