Il y eut peut-etre une vision premiere essayee dans la fleur (There was perhaps a first vision attempted in the flower)
This print displays intricate lines and stippling surrounding the shape of a large eye above center. Below this, there are lines forming a beak-like shape. The appearance is similar to a bird's head that has been rotated to the side, although the shapes are abstracted. The shapes could also suggest a strange, curved plant with a thick stem. Around the eye are two layers of thin feathered lines similar to eyelashes or fur.
