This print shows a portrait of a man from the waist up. He is facing us, his body slightly turned to the right. The man has light skin, a neatly styled mustache, a pointed beard, and short, curly hair. He is dressed in reflective armor made of overlapping panels connected by rivets. Above the armor, he wears a high lace ruff around his neck, and he has a fabric draped over his right shoulder. He holds a cylindrical baton or staff in his right hand. Around this portrait is a circular frame with text on it. The man's baton pokes slightly out of this frame. Above the frame is a figure of a cherub who appears to be carrying the portrait on a string, as well as the head of a goat on the right and a crowned shield on the left. Below the frame are two small vases with flowers, as well as a section of text within a swirling border. The background is gray, with a darker border around the edges of the print. The print is surrounded by a thick border of plain paper.
