The image shows seven monks seated around a rectangular table in a dining setting. Most are on wooden stools, while one sits on a bench at the end of the table. Their heads are either hooded or bald. One monk has his hands clasped in prayer, and others are serving or passing food items. The man standing leans over the table. They all wear robes typical of monastic settings. In the background, there is a crucifix under an arched ceiling. The room is simply furnished, with a jug on the floor and light coming in through a small window on the right.
