The sculpture depicts a small winged figure playing a harp or lyre in front of a majestic lion on rocky terrain. There are outlines of rock formations or trees to the left of the lion. In the background, there is an inscribed panel with the words “OPVS PISANI PICTORIS” and some other illegible details. The sculpture is made of stone or a similar material with a weathered, grayish-white color. The figures are raised against a flat background, creating a three-dimensional effect.
