Don Iñigo d'Avalos, d. 1484, Grand Chamberlain of Naples 1449 [obverse]
The sculpture is a large, round medal featuring a profile bust of a man facing right. The subject wears a wide-brimmed hat with a draped cloth and a robe with a fur-like collar. The surface of the medal is bronze in color, and it is made from metal. Inscriptions along the perimeter read “DON INIGO” on the left and “DE DAVALOS” on the right. The image is in detailed relief against the flat background of the medal.
