The image features a round sculpture in the form of a medal or medallion. The subject of the sculpture is the profile of a woman facing right. Her hair is styled neatly, covered in a decorative headpiece which wraps around her head. She is adorned with a detailed garment with patterns and a brooch. The medal is predominantly brownish in color, suggesting it is made of bronze or brass. Around the edge of the sculpture, there is an inscription in capital letters, reading "ANTONIA BAPTIA DEGONZA PRD." The entire piece has a slightly rough texture, and there is a small hole near the top edge.
