The sculpture is a medallion featuring the bust of a man, portrayed in profile from the shoulders up, facing towards the left. The subject is wearing a high-collared garment with four visible buttons and a hat adorned with a decorative band. The medallion is crafted from a bronze-colored material. Surrounding the figure is an inscription that reads, "ANDREAS GRITI DVX VENETIAR." The surface shows textural variations with a patinated finish. There is a small circular hole near the top of the medallion.
