This painting depicts a harbor scene from an elevated viewpoint, overlooking moored boats with people sitting in them. On the right is a tall, pale-yellow building with arched doorways and a large towner, partially covered with green vegetation, next to a pile of large gray rocks. At the bottom of the painting, several people stand on a rocky platform, some carrying wooden boxes or barrels. The people wear clothes in shades of red, yellow, and brown, and more people can be seen in small boats on the water nearby. In the distance, past the light-green water, gray and green cliffs rise up, dotted with small gray buildings. The sky above is pale yellow, with light gray clouds floating at the top of the painting.
