This painting shows a landscape with a curving path leading away from us towards left and then back towards the center of the composition, with rolling hills and a blue sky in the distance. A distant house is seen in the hills on the right, with gray walls and a red roof. Dark trees are visible along the path, contrasting with the bright green and yellow fields on either side. On the far left, the black silhouettes of some people appear to walk down the path. In the center, behind the hills, there is a patch of pale yellow swirls in the blue sky, perhaps indicating sunlight, clouds, or smoke.
