This is a drawing of various animals in a woodland setting. The scene depicts a collection of animals gathered around a fallen tree in a forest. In the foreground, there is a lion, a spotted cat resembling a leopard, and a fox. A hare sits among the branches, and to the right, a bear is seen. An additional creature, possibly a weasel, appears at the very edge of the right side. In the background, there is a figure partially obscured on the tree trunk. A bird is perched on one of the tree branches overhead. The cross-hatching technique and use of line work emphasize the texture of the animals' fur and the foliage of the trees.
