The sculpture is a bronze medallion depicting the profile of a man in side view, facing right. The man has a beard, mustache, and wears a cap. He is depicted wearing an ornate garment with visible folds. The medallion has inscriptions around the edge, including "IAC" and other letters. The bronze material gives the sculpture a rich brown color with a subtle patina.
