Her clothing appears to be loose, flowing garments, possibly a robe or dress, which is layered and draped. Next to her, a young child stands leaning against the wall, using their sleeve to rub their nose or face. The child has short hair and wears simple clothing. In the foreground surrounding them, several sheep are scattered, some lying down, others standing. On the right side, there is a large basket containing more wool or sheep. The background consists of a rough stone wall and possibly a thatched roof above.
