This photograph features a view of dark water under a cloudy sky, with a horizon in the bottom third dividing the sea and the sky. On the horizon, the shapes of distant buildings or rocks are visible, including one tall shape that could be a lighthouse. The sea is almost completely black, except for a few small white ripples in the bottom of the photograph. The sky is light gray and filled with puffy white clouds.
