Behind them, three men are standing; they wear dark suits with high, white collars. Another woman stands to the left, partially obscured by holding a sheer, white fabric over her face, her hair styled into an upward bun. Above all of them is an ethereal figure in a similar white dress that appears to be floating. The background includes patterned wallpaper and a table with a vase, along with some indistinct decorations suggestive of a domestic setting. The photograph has a blue tint or cyanotype appearance.
