This is a painting depicting the crucifixion. The central figure is on a cross and has wounds with blood flowing. Two figures with halos stand at the base of the cross, one in a nun's habit and the other in red and green robes. The ground is scattered with bones and a skull. The art style features outlined figures with bold colors and a simplified design, characteristic of medieval religious illustrations. It is reminiscent of medieval woodcuts or religious iconography from the late Middle Ages.
