This painting shows an arrangement of large pink roses in a tan vase set against a black background. The color palette includes various shades of pale pink for the flowers and buds, and green from the leaves and stems of the flowers. The vase is placed on a rectangular surface that appears to be a silver table or counter, showing a slight reflection of the flowers in streaks of pink and green. The black background has some gray streaks running though it that give the impression that it is wrinkled.
