This appears to be a book cover. The cover has a textured fabric-like surface in a deep reddish-brown color. On the left side and in the upper right and lower right corners are sections of brown trim with thin gold borders. This trim appears worn and distressed, with visible scuff marks and scratches. The fabric also shows signs of wear, with variations in color intensity suggesting aging or use.
