This is a photograph of a sequence of movement study. The image features two rows of grid-like background photographs, capturing stages of a subject climbing onto and stepping down from a stool. Each photograph in the sequence shows a moment in time of this motion. The frames are arranged systematically to give a clear view of this continuous motion, with the top series showing the movement from the side and the bottom series from behind.
