This painting shows a woman seated on a wooden chair, facing the right with her head slightly tilted down. She is focused on the thin silver needles she holds in her hands. She has light skin and brown hair put up into a bun, and she wears a dark green long-sleeved top with a white collar, a long tan skirt, and black shoes with short heels. On the round table next to her, there is a bowl decorated with white and blue patterns. On the left, a tall brown surface is partially visible, with a vase of red, orange, and purple flowers on top of it. The room has pale-yellow walls, and there is an open window with sheer curtains behind the woman. Framed artwork is on either side of the window, near the gray ceiling, and on the right is an open white door leading into another room with red walls and another open door.
