In the center of this painting there is a large ornate golden goblet overflowing with grapes and green leaves. On the right, a dark glass vase is filled with various colorful flowers, such as tulips and roses in shades of yellow, pink, white and red. Below the goblet, in the bottom left corner of the painting, is a grouping of several birds. The birds are laying on top of one another in a large pile, some upside down and with legs or wings extended. Some of the birds have colorful plumage in shades of red or green. The goblet, vase, and birds rest on a brown surface, and the wall behind the objects is black.
