Buddha Triad
The Buddha Triad depicts a central Buddha figure flanked by two smaller Buddha figures. The central Buddha sits cross-legged on a lotus flower with hands resting on knees. The central Buddha has a halo composed of small circles behind its head. The central Buddha wears a simple robe that drapes over the left shoulder and across the body. The two smaller Buddha figures stand on either side of the central figure, each holding a container. The smaller Buddha figures wear robes similar to the central Buddha. The sculpture is made of dark brown stone with lighter brown speckles. The background behind the sculpture fades from black at the top to gray at the bottom. The sculpture stands on a flat base. The overall shape of the sculpture tapers to a point at the top.
