Schiavona Broadsword

Cleveland Museum of Art

The Schiavona Broadsword has a long, straight blade with a pointed tip. The blade appears to be made of metal and has a weathered, aged appearance with visible signs of wear and tear. The hilt features a bulbous pommel with a decorative gold-colored top and a metal lattice-like design. Two small metal quillons extend from the sides of the hilt. The background of the image transitions from dark gray at the top to light gray at the center, then back to dark gray at the bottom.
