The Crucifixion by Sodoma: A painting depicting a crucifixion scene. Jesus Christ hangs on a large brown cross with outstretched arms. He has a halo around his head and is barefoot and naked except for a cloth wrapped around his waist. His head is tilted slightly to the right. There are five people below and to the right of the cross. The person on the far right is standing with hands raised in prayer, wearing a brown robe with red lining. The person to their left is on one knee, with their right hand touching the bottom of the cross and their left hand on the foot of Jesus, wearing a blue-gray shirt and a pink robe. Three people are sitting on the ground on the left side: - The person on the left wears a red dress and blue cloak. - The person in the middle wears a white dress and green cloak. - The person on the right wears a black dress and white head covering. A tree trunk is on the left. In the background, there are buildings, a body of water, and mountains under a blue sky with a few clouds.
