Bookplate with a coat of arms. The coat of arms has a shield with a diamond shape inside. An eye is in the center of the diamond. A stack of three books sits atop the shield. The shield has a banner on either side with writing. The left banner reads "UBI PLURA" and the right banner reads "OFFENDAR MACULIS". Below the banners is another banner that reads "NITENT NON EGO PAUCIS". Floral designs are on both sides of the shield. A sunburst is in the upper left corner. The name "Danforth" is written in cursive at the bottom.
