Sarangi by unknown artist. The stringed instrument has a long neck with tuning pegs on top. There are four main pegs on the sides with spherical ends and four additional side pegs on the left. Pegs are inserted into the neck from the sides and from the back. A bridge made of bone or ivory sits atop the instrument. There are four playing strings running from the bridge to the neck. A decorative strip with inlays runs along the neck. The body of the instrument is made of animal skin stretched over a curved, wooden frame. A decorative strip runs along the bottom of the body. There are several strings attached to the bottom. The background is a gradient from dark gray at the top to light gray at the bottom. The instrument casts a shadow to the right.
