Lyre Guitar or Lirachitara

M. C. Mousset

Cleveland Museum of Art

The instrument has a brown wood body with a black neck and headstock. The body is shaped like a lyre, with two curved arms that extend upwards from the main body. There are two circular decorative cutouts on either side of the body. The neck is long and thin, with frets and a black headstock at the top. A metal rod runs across the top of the instrument, attached to the headstock. The background is a gradient from dark gray at the top to light gray at the bottom. The instrument stands on a flat surface, casting a shadow to the right.
