The Lute or Tiorbino by unidentified artist. The instrument has a teardrop-shaped body made of light-colored wood with a darker wood inlay around the edges. A circular, mesh-covered sound hole is centered on the body. There are 11 strings and 2 courses of double strings. The fretboard is made of darker wood with white fret lines. A thin strip of a lighter wood runs along the edge of the neck. The tuning pegs on the headstock are made of darker wood. The instrument stands on a short stand and casts a shadow on a gradient background transitioning from dark to light gray.
